How does the Schedule Change Process work?

The Schedule Change Request SmartSheet form link can be accessed by 2 methods 

  1. SAM Knowledge Center – General > Schedule Change Request > https://bit.ly/SmartSheetForScheduleChangeRequest 
  2. Submitting a SAM ticket & requesting the link be emailed 

 

Schedule Change Request Process

  1. Click on the link to access the Schedule Change Request SmartSheet 
  2. Fill out the SmartSheet 
  3. The completed Smartsheet will be forwarded to the following for approval or denial
  • School Director 
    • DENY - the sheet will be emailed back to the requester with a reason given for the denial
    • APPROVE – a date for the schedule change will be provided & the sheet will move onto the FA financial planner
  • Financial Planner
    • DENY - the sheet will be emailed back to the requester with a reason given for the denial
    • APPROVE – the sheet will be emailed back to the requester with notations of any possible changes to the requestor’s financial aid/student loan
  • Requestor/Student
    • DENY – the request will be canceled & student will remain in current schedule with no changes
    • APPROVE - Student must approve the SmartSheet to move forward with the schedule change

                  1. the student will attend the new chosen schedule on the class start date provided 

                  2. The student will be emailed an Enrollment Agreement Amendment (EAA) on class start date

                  3. The EAA must be signed to finalize the schedule
